I am hungry

This song makes me............

Me,Me,Me,Me. How about a dose of WE for a change?

I did something today that I had made a semi-promise to myself not to buy donuts from the recently reopened Krispy Kreme store near us as the lines are long and horrible. But, I am an old softy dad who loves to make his daughters smile, and Zelda and Veruka have been waiting patiently since they reopened for a few of those glazed delights.

So, as I am waiting in the drive-thru and people are coming and going from inside the store, here comes a dad with two little girls and an arm full of donuts and drinks when a gust of wind starts scattering the napkins he was carrying.

7 people looked at him and walked on by before one kind man stopped to help him. 7 People!!! Sure wouldn't want to lose a place in line for a box of fat pills.

A few of my favorites, "It's not about me." "That's their problem." "Let them figure it out".

Me, Me, Me, Me, Me.

Let's try adding a teaspoon of WE each day.

Hmm. What is wrong with this?

I don't even know where to begin with this, pretty sad when you think about it, VERY SAD.

Memorial Day

Let's not forget that Memorial Day weekend is possible because....

Is there a Rock n Roll Heaven? There should be.

I can't believe I never saw this "updated" version of the Righteous Brothers classic. If there is indeed a heaven up above, can you imagine the jam sessions with John Lennon, Freddie Mercury and Elvis playing his 3 chords?

Parking garage rage?

First off, I want to thank everyone for tossing a hello my way at the Soft Touch event, there were some pretty cool new software apps being presented and you made me look pretty darn good in front of my competitors. THANK YOU!!!!!!

Now, here is my real B, gripe and semi complaint. I dropped my wife (we shall call her Daisy) at the airport the other day and this "gentleman" and I were both backing out, well, I thought he gave me the hand wave to go ahead and pull out. I was wrong evidently. I started to back up and all of a sudden he is slapping the back window of the family truckster and screaming at him.

I thought I must have hit some luggage or something, so I jumped out to see what "I had done", and he gets all up in my face and screaming and waving his hands, it was a real insane situation.

So, no way am I arguing with this idiot, so as I start to walk away, he grabs my shoulder and spins me around and starts with the finger poke to the chest. I am a pretty peaceful guy, some might call me a pussy cat of a guy, but you poke that finger in a mans chest, be ready for an unpleasant reaction. He got one too, but it was so silly, stupid and unneccessary.

Lighten up everyone. This world could really use a group hug.

Blu Ray Players

Fresh off the High Def wars between Blu-Ray and HD was kind of interesting to watch, now with Blu-Ray the winner, whats all this complaining about? Bottom line, it is all about the pricing.

Drop the price and they will buy.

Catch me at the next Sony/New Line Cinema webinar, I am the wildcard they aren't expecting.

They will probably call me everything EXCEPT for Dan. LOL.

Single Servings

Coming soon to a web browser near you, SingleServings!

My friend and colleague Jeremy G. will be rolling out a new blog site very soon dedicated to "Cooking for one". I have seen a preview and it's a killer, for all of you out there that end up tossing leftover after leftover away, stay tuned, Jeremy will deliver some great alternatives that taste great.

Call Me Dan, but never Call Me Late for Supper. LOL. I am cracking myself up.

Naked Swim Day

I went out for a jog in the 105 degree heat today with the intention of keeping it smart and short at 30 minutes. So, I headed out, got a good little work out in, but was feeling pretty darn hot, so as soon as I hit the house I jumped in the pool, shorts, shoes, socks and all. Whew, it felt very nice. But, after 45 seconds the wet clothes started to feel a tad clingy, so I did what Dan does best and stripped down.

So, as we all know, I am basically a nudist that believes every Wednesday should be National Naked Day. Well, let's add Tuesday as National "Swim Naked Day" That cool chlorinated water felt absolutely WONDERFUL!!

Movie Review of The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian

The latest film adaptation of C.S. Lewis's classic series, The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian is sure to be a box office smash. I only have one minor complaint, it is a tad on the violent side for children 6 and under. (In my opinion only). I took my 5 year old daughter (whom we shall call Zelda) and she buried her head in my arm more than a few times, but, in all fairness, she tends to do the same with Harry Potter films.

I loved it, I am not going to go into a bunch of details that spoil the film like most reviews, but I LOVED IT.
